It is nice to report a good outcome for a change. A 74 year old pilot experienced engine trouble in his V-Tail Beechcraft Bonanza enroute from Clinton to Fort Smith and elected to make a precautionary landing on Highway 59, north of Barling.

After a check of the engine (and repair?) the police blocked the highway so the pilot could complete his journey.
