First-ever crash of Piaggio Avanti

FLINT, MICHIGAN, USA:

A Piaggio P180 Avanti crashed on landing at Flint Airport after reporting engine problems in flight.

The twin-turboprop veered from the runway after touchdown, and flipped over on the grass.

Four occupants - two pilots and two pax - were released from the cabin and walked away with minor injuries.
