Helicopter crash near Delano California kills pilot

The pilot and sole occupant of a helicopter involved in agricultrual operations has crashed in the early hours of Wednesday morning near Lake Woollomes SW of Delano, Calif. The helicopter crashed into a vineyard, and was thought to be conducting frost control operations.
The pilot has been identified as Karen L Johnson, 62 of Camarillo.
