Homebuilt crashes in California – two dead

A Glasair III high performance homebuilt has crashed near Byron, California killing the two occupants. A local farmer, first to the scene, encountered the wreckage in flames.

It is unclear if the aircraft was on approach or departure when the accident occurred.
