Keep an eye out for the "Avirate" blog coming soon. This will be a pre-cursor to a mainline website to come later this year. Not your average aviation ratings site (there are so many) - Avirate will concentrate on 2nd tier aviation, where publicly available information is hard to come by. We aim to provide the travelling public with up to date information that will help them make a decision on whom to fly with - right from light aircraft charter, through helicopters to bizjets. Airlines are highly publicly scrutinised and audited, and are therefore outside the target area for us. We also aim to be a voice for those aviation operators who take great pride in their organisations, with the latest equipment and experienced crews. Operators such as these are granted the same legal certificate as the operators using old and minimally equipped aircraft with junior and inexperienced crews. The travelling public are not aware of the fundamental differences in aviation operators, and therefore may be putting themselves at higher risk. Avirate aims to shine some light on these murky areas. All the public need to remember is: "Before you Aviate, make sure you Avirate!"We feel that AirCrashReport and Avirate will together to create a better and safer aviation environment for all. Stay tuned for more updates, and safe flying.
