Light plane crashed in Queensland Australia - 1 confirmed dead

Approximately 10am Monday 17th December 2012:

A light aircraft - reportedly a Cessna - has crashed near the coastal town of Burren River (near Hervey Bay) close to Burren Heads Road.

One person has been confirmed dead at the scene.
