Sunday morning, 18th November 2012:

A Cessna 208 Caravan has crashed near the town of snow lake north of Winnipeg resulting in the death of the 40 year old pilot and injury of the seven passengers.

It is understood that the aircraft was on a charter related to a mine site in Snow Lake.

The alarm was raised after one of the passengers made a telephone call after the crash.
