7:30 PM Saturday 10th November 2012 (CA Time):Fresno County Sheriff's Department has located the wreckage of a twin engine Cessna aircraft that crashed near the intersection of Nevins and Dinkey Creek Roads, south of Shaver Lake. The crash site is approximately 210 Km to the East of Salinas, CA.
The aircraft was en-route from Salinas airport to Omaha, Nebraska. The body of one person was found in the wreckage, however it it is unclear how many persons were on board when the aircraft departed. NTSB investigators are expected to arrive at the scene Sunday morning.
