A Trike ultralight aircraft crashed during a training flight, killing both occupants. The crash occurred approximately 15 km to the SW of Chelan Airport, from where the aircraft departed.

Killed were Rob "Bedo" Lyons, 58 - Chief Flying Instructor/Owner of Adventure Aviation Flights and his student Jason L. Escapule, 39 owner of Harvard Honey Bees.
