Cessna 172 crashes in Mississippi – 1 dead

Wednesday 19th June 2013.

A training flight ended with a crash when a Cessna 172 struck power lines when attempting to land at James H Easom Field, near Newton Ms around 930 in the morning.

The 57 year old student was killed and the instructor survived. The instructor is the son of a pilot who was killed in the Reno Air Race in 2002. Names have been released.
