A pilot and passenger died when their plane overshot the runway at Okbibab airstrip, Pegunungan Bintang regency in Papua, on Saturday at 7:40 a.m.  The aircraft plunged into a ravine and caught fire.  Three passengers survived.

The aircraft - a PAC P-750 XSTOL turbine-powered monoplane made in New Zealand, was operated by Association Mission Aviation (AMA).
