A Tupolev Tu 204 with 12 persons on board ran off the end of the runway at Vnukovo Airport in Russia on Saturday 29th December. 5 persons have been confirmed killed.
Several causes have been postulated including adverse weather, pilot error or malfunction caused by recent maintenance.
The aircraft was not carrying paying passengers.
