Friday 27th June 2013, Johnson Creek, Idaho USA:

Two light aircraft collided on final approach to the Johnson Creek Airstrip on Friday morning resulting in both crashing from low altitude.

The toddler died in the accident and the father was transported to Boise for treatment. The occupants of the other aircraft survived with minor injuries.

The airstrip, near Yellowpine, was the location for a regular fly-in event.
